SAN FRANCISCO INTERIOR & PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER KATHRYN MACDONALD
Kathryn MacDonald is a San Francisco-based interior and portrait photographer who has been working with interior designers, B&B owners, wineries, law, and financial services firms, business leaders, and artists for over 20 years. Interior designers choose Kathryn for her ability to capture an inviting angle or creative detail, and for her impeccable organization and time management skills.
Portraiture is where Kathryn’s warmth and sense of humor put her subject at ease. She coaches them with subtle suggestions to make them look spontaneous and natural so that by the end of a session, the client has a wide range of images from which to choose.
Kathryn’s personal challenge is to photograph her travels by only carrying her iPhone. Some of her favorite pastimes are attending film festivals, shopping for jewelry, and finding that next pair of shoes she can’t live without.
